This item is for 8 of the new Oreck Charcoal Odor Fighting vacuum bags. They are really designed to fit uprights with the Bag Docking System, however they can be used with the older style uprights as well. These bags are the nicest quality bags Oreck currently has on the market. They are designed to eliminate all odors, especially odors caused by pets. The bags is a cloth type HEPA bag, as opposed to the paper bags most people use. These bags are ideal for people with sensitivities to odors and dust, as they keep the odor and dust inside the bags more effectively then standard Oreck bags. Each bag is individually wrapped on plastic to keep the charcoal fresh. These bags are approved by the carpet and rug institute. These bags maintain suction 20% longer, and don't need replacing as often as standard bags. Designed to fit Oreck models: XL5, XL7, XL21, 2000, 3000, 4000, 8000, and 9000 series. If your model number is not listed, you can still use these bags with your upright Oreck XL, you'll just have to bend the carboard down a little so the outer bag can close. We have tried them on the older style with no problems.
