Inspired by the decorative underbody lighting seen on the street racers from the 2001 film, ‘The Fast and the Furious’, engineer Rob Finch designed an LED light bar to fit underneath his 12-year old son Eric’s bed. As soon as Eric took one look at his bed, he wanted that same lighting to go on his bike. This led to the creation of Brightz, Ltd. in 2008 and their first product, Go Brightz, which debuted two years later. The portable, battery-powered LED light packs for bicycles eventually evolved into a full line of LED lighting kits for products ranging from coolers, lockers, outdoor game sets, basketball hoops, and even as clothing accessories. When the sun goes down for the day and darkness falls, Brightz, Ltd. lets the fun continue for both kids and adults alike.
